Atlanta Things to Do

photo

Atlanta is the city we call home and one of our favorite places together. We’re so excited to share a few of our favorite spots and recommendations for things to do while you’re here.

About Atlanta

Atlanta has a little bit of everything. Stroll or bike along the Atlanta BeltLine, explore shops and food stalls at Ponce City Market, or wander charming neighborhoods like Inman Park and Virginia-Highland. For classic Atlanta sights, visit the Georgia Aquarium—one of the largest aquariums in the world—or relax with a walk through Piedmont Park and its nearby Botanical Gardens.

Where to Eat

Atlanta’s food scene is diverse and excellent. For casual dining with many options, check out Krog Street Market (where the couple first met) or Ponce City Market. If you’re craving Indian food, local favorites include Chai Pani and Hyderabad House. Neighborhoods like Decatur and Inman Park also offer great sit-down restaurants, cafés, and bakeries.

Getting Around & Trails

Atlanta is easiest to navigate by car, and Uber and Lyft are widely available. Rental cars are helpful if you plan to explore different neighborhoods, while MARTA provides easy access from the airport to downtown and nearby areas. For short trips, walking or biking along the Atlanta BeltLine is a great way to see the city.
